I prepped this post on Tuesday night.

And while my heart was pounding out of my chest.

Because our dog ran out and into the deep of the woods where no man has gone before.

And she wasn't coming back.

And we had her collar off (d'oh!) because she had an irritated neck.

And we screamed her name until we had no voices left.

And I blew my brains out on a dog whistle.

And squeaked her toys until they sounded like clowns having sex.

And then?

Finally.

Just when I was about to throw up because I was certain she was gone for good.

She came running right up to me.

Holy. Freaking. Cow.
